Welcome to Getwellin support. Getwellin is an app that turns your face into AI-generated portraits placed in scenes and styles you choose. This page answers the questions we hear most. If you do not find what you need, we are happy to help directly.
How do I contact you?
Email us at [email protected] for help with your account, purchases, generations, or anything else. We aim to reply within 2 business days, and usually sooner. For privacy requests (access, correction, deletion, a copy of your data, or withdrawal of consent), you can also reach our privacy team at [email protected].
How do coins work?
Coins are what you spend to generate AI photos. A single generation costs a set number of coins depending on the scene and look you pick, and the price is shown before you confirm. You get coins two ways:
- A subscription (Getwellin Plus or Studio) includes a coin allowance each billing period.
- You can buy one-time coin packs anytime, separately from any subscription.
Coins from one-time packs do not expire. Coins included with a subscription are tied to your active plan. Coins have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money. All purchases are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase, so we never see or store your card details; we use a subscription processor (RevenueCat) only to confirm your purchase and keep your plan and coin balance in sync.
How do subscriptions and auto-renew work?
Getwellin Plus and Studio are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through Apple In-App Purchase. The title, price, billing period, and what you get are shown before you buy. Unless you cancel, a subscription automatically renews at the end of each period, and Apple charges your Apple Account within 24 hours before the period ends at the price for the plan you chose. You can see the exact title, length, and price on the purchase screen and in your Apple subscription settings.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, so you cancel through your device, not inside Getwellin:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Choose Getwellin, then tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access to your plan and its benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
How do refunds work?
Because all coins and subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase, Apple handles billing and refunds. We are not able to issue App Store refunds directly. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account, or follow Apple's steps to request a refund for App Store purchases. Refunds are granted at Apple's discretion under Apple's terms, except where a refund is required by the law that applies to you. If something went wrong on our side, email [email protected] and we will do our best to make it right.
Is my face data private?
Yes. To create photos that look like you, the app guides you through a face scan that captures your face from several angles, plus any photos you choose to upload. This is sensitive, biometric-style facial data, and we treat it that way. Before the scan, we ask for your explicit consent to collect and use this data, and you can withdraw that consent at any time (see below). We use the data only to build your personal model so we can generate your photos, and to verify with our identity check that each result actually looks like you.
- We never sell your facial data and never share it with advertisers.
- We do not use your facial data for marketing, advertising, or tracking you across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not profit from your biometric data in any way.
- To generate your images, the app sends your reference imagery to our third-party AI image provider (Google's Gemini API) solely to produce your results. We do not use it to identify you to anyone else. Our app and database run on our own self-hosted servers, where your face scan, uploads, and generations are stored.
- Your facial model and facial data are deleted when you delete your account or withdraw your biometric consent, and in any case no later than the retention period set out in our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from inside the app:
- Open Getwellin and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete Account and confirm.
Deleting your account removes your facial model and personal data and withdraws your biometric consent. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the associated Sign in with Apple token. Note that individual creations can also be deleted on their own; a small, non-identifying preview image may remain for a short time due to how the app stores creations, but it is not your facial model and cannot be used to identify you. How do I report content or block someone?
Getwellin includes a discovery feed where people can make a creation public and others can view or remix the look. We want it to stay respectful, and we use both automated and human review to moderate it. If you see something that does not belong:
- To report a post, open it, tap the options menu, and choose Report.
- To block a user, open their post or profile, tap the options menu, and choose Block. You can manage blocked accounts later in Settings.
We review reports of objectionable content and act on them, typically within 24 hours, including removing content or restricting accounts where appropriate. You can also email [email protected]if you need urgent help. Please only upload photos of yourself or images you have the right to use; uploading someone else's face without their permission is not allowed.
My generation looks wrong or low quality. What can I do?
AI image generation is probabilistic, which means results vary and the model does not produce the exact same output every time. Results are AI-generated and may not be accurate or true to life, and some generations will look more like you than others. To help, every result runs through our identity check, which scores how closely it matches your face scan and retries when a result does not pass. If a generation still looks off:
- Try generating again; a fresh attempt often lands much closer.
- Make sure your face scan was done in good, even lighting with a clear view of your face, and consider redoing it if it was rushed.
- Different scenes and looks can affect how recognizable a result is, so experiment with a few.
If results are consistently wrong, email [email protected] and we will look into it.
Managing my privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, to withdraw consent (including your biometric consent), to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information, and you can exercise these rights at any time without being treated differently for doing so. The easiest path for most rights is the in-app account deletion described above; for anything else, email [email protected].
